Every kid and teenager wishes to personalize his/her space at home. You must have seen the walls of your kid's room covered with posters of their idols and heart throbs, ranging from sport stars to actors and celebrities. But, customizing a room completely according to a specific theme is a quite modern trend, and is very much favored by both, kids and teenagers alike.
There are unique designs of wood ceilings, which can be used to create a beautiful interior. These designs make a room look extremely stylish when various engraved or painted patterns are done on it. Wood from lime, pear, maple, beech, and cherry trees, are used to make laminate and veneer ceilings, creating a rich ambiance. They are neither traditional, nor modern; they have always been timeless.
One should not apply dense acrylic paint directly to the ceiling. Chances are that it will rip the popcorn texture off the ceiling. So it's better to dilute or thin the acrylic paint up to 20%. The thinning liquid used can be water. It's absolutely necessary that the ceiling texture soaks in the acrylic paint. Experiment with the amount of water needed, to make the paint sufficiently thin. Apply and see if it's the right proportion. Approximately half a quarter of water for every gallon, is a reasonably good ratio and serves the purpose. Refer to the paint guide, that's usually provided by the manufacturers for more details. You may also find information about mixing ratios on the manufacturer's website.
